Setup of courier in RSDelivery app
- In order to start using the app functionality you need to complete the registration. It is completely free and takes a couple of minutes.
- Upon entering the system you will find yourself in a main menu for managers
To start working in the system utilizing the full potential you should complete the following settings:
System modules
System modules allow you to include additional functionality for courier/expeditor. When setting up the system you need to decide which modules you want to use:

- Payments module. It allows you input in the courier app the info on accepted payment from client.
- Goods module. It allows to work with the order specification in the courier app. When combined with the Payment module,it can perform calculations on the remaining order value for cases of partial order refusal.
- Photo module. Allows courier/expeditor to attach photos to the order. The attached photo can be downloaded from the manager workplace, as well as transferred to your accounting system using the API capabilities.
Initial setup of system libraries
Setup of Document state library. Changes in the state of documents are made by courier/expeditor while working with the orders. You can input any custom states specific to your business or use the default existing ones:
You may include new lines into Document state library, change the existing ones, or delete the unnecessary document states. It is important to have the initial line of the library (by default it is named “Planned”)
The “Initial state of document” checkbox implies that courier/expeditor will see the new order on a mobile screen in this particular state.
Setting up the “Document statuses” library
This library is used for the manager to be able to make the order visible for the courier/expeditor or, if necessary, hide it. (i.e. upon completion)
The “Goods condition” library
This library is meant to indicate:
- spoilage upon delivery
- item refusal by client
- other options
The feature “Does not affect document total” is used in the “Payments” module
Setting up “Types of payment” library
The present library is used for the courier/expeditor to be able to write down the info about accepted payments from the client.
Setting up a courier in the RSDelivery app
1. Open the RSDelivery mobile app
2. In the “Account” screen input the courier credentials: email and password
3. If the credentials are provided correctly, the app should be ready for use.
